The Foresters 2000 keeper is beaten again

The classic game of two halves in the Tournament Shield away against Foresters 2000. After establishing what seemed to be a match-winning lead at half-time, we were lucky to escape with all three points.
Foresters could only field 10 players, and although we were without influential players Tom Ryan and Chris Nissen, we took control of the match from the start. We created numerous chances and eventually took the lead through David Hartfield. Further goals followed for Matt English, Jamie Wickham and Michael Ide, before Mark Holden hit a great shot to score his first goal of the season. It wasn't all one-way traffic however, and Jamie Hards made a couple of great saves.
In the second half the wind got up which greatly increased the advantage of playing downhill and Foresters took full advantage, scoring with a header from a corner. This seemed to give Foresters new heart and they quickly scored another couple of goals. By this time it was our players who had got the wind up, and when Jamie Hards fumbled a shot and the ball trickled over the line we were hanging on desperately. Foresters missed a couple of chances near the end, and we were very relieved to hear the final whistle.
David Hartfield was man of the match.
