We were forced to take a reduced-strength team to the Crowborough tournament, with the bare minimum of players and no recognised strikers.
We started very well but suffered our usual bad luck, losing to Jarvis Brook with virtually the last kick of the game, having held our own and possibly looked the better side.
We then lost the next game, not playing so well, but got our first goals and points of the day against Forest Row - the first goal when Jack Holden finished a great move that involved the whole team and the second a speculative long-range effort from Greg Byrne.
We lost narrowly against a good Ridgewaye team before losing to Crowborough Town, having dominated the game and had a clear goal disallowed as the referee thought it hadn't crossed the line.
