Tonbridge start the second half in attacking spirit with good football resulting in half chance for Mike Ide. Some good midfield play between Ian Dipple, Chris Newbury and Greg Byrne. Colts attack, defended well. Colts attack again - goal, shot low.

Further observations from referee Peter Ide:

Castle were a VERY good team so there was no shame in the loss. Jamie Hards had a blinder - and was very unlucky - made one fantastic save only for it to hit the post and roll out for the guy to tuck in. Defence - Jack Holden had another good game - he was really trying to pass the ball out rather than just belt it. Tom Ryan was outstanding as always. In midfield, Greg Byrne did his usual winning everything and Chris Newbury had loads of good runs. Up front Ross McCarter worked very hard when often on his own against a good strong big defence.

All in all a hard working performance against the winners of div 1 in the Maidstone league - had a couple of outstanding lads - very good going forward and took chances very well-also superior in the air - showed up a weakness at set pieces. Having said that, for the first 15 mins of both halves the boys held them.
